Pumpkin Spice Pecan Bread

If you know me personally, you know I don’t really drink caffeine. The closest I get to drinking a caffeinated drink, is the occasional Dr. Pepper. So when Fall comes around, and everyone is going nuts for Pumpkin Spiced Lattes at Starbucks, I’m just not one of those people. However, I do get excited for this! I look forward to Williams Sonoma’s Spiced Pecan Pumpkin Bread mix. This stuff is ridiculous and if you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a huge favor and go get it!

It’s so delicious and so easy! I always add extra pecans on ours since we love them. You also need eggs, water, and butter. That’s it!

They also sell this pumpkin butter, its so rich and delectable. It turns the bread into a dessert instantly. However Drew and I love this bread as a breakfast item. So we keep it simple with warming it up with butter and coffee or tea. I once made it with a cream cheese frosting, oh my dear Lord. It’s heaven.

So while most basic babes are wearing their patterned chunky scarfs, with their boots, at the pumpkin patch sipping on their Pumpkin Spice Lattes, I’ll be over here in southern California in flip flops, shorts, at the beach, eating some soft spiced pecan pumpkin bread for breakfast!
